Android Phone & Tablet IPTV Setup Guide

Set up Teleget on an Android phone or tablet, including Samsung, Google Pixel, Xiaomi, OnePlus and similar devices. Most compatible players use the same simple Xtream Codes login process.

About 5 minutes

Get the app and your Teleget details ready.

Keep the Android device online and have the Server or Portal URL, Username and Password from your TELEGET welcome email ready to copy carefully.

  • Android phone or tablet

Use the device you want to watch on, whether it is a Samsung, Pixel, Xiaomi, OnePlus or another Android model.

  • A compatible IPTV player

Where available, use IBO Player or IBO Pro from Google Play. Another compatible Android IPTV player can also be used if it supports the required login method.

  • Your TELEGET welcome email

Your Server or Portal URL, Username and Password are supplied after subscription. These details are case-sensitive.

Android IPTV setup

Connect your account in a few straightforward steps.

For most Android IPTV players, the Xtream Codes API option is the simplest way to enter your TELEGET subscription details.

  1. Install a compatible IPTV player

Open Google Play and install IBO Player or IBO Pro where available. You can also use another compatible Android player that supports the connection method supplied for your subscription.

  2. Open the player and add a connection

Launch the app and choose Add User, Add Playlist, Add Account or the closest option shown by your version.

  3. Choose Xtream Codes API

Select Login with Xtream Codes API or the equivalent Xtream Codes login option when your player provides it.

  4. Enter your TELEGET details

Give the connection a simple name such as TELEGET or Home. Then enter the Portal / Server URL, Username and Password from your TELEGET welcome email exactly as supplied.

  5. Save the account and let it load

Tap Add, Save or the equivalent button and give the player a moment to load the TELEGET playlist and content.

  6. Reopen the player if needed

If the playlist does not appear immediately, close and reopen the player. Do not replace the supplied connection details with example credentials.

IBO options

Choose the setup route that matches your player.

If IBO Player or IBO Pro shows device information and uses its own playlist-management system, you have two practical ways to finish the setup.

01

Let TELEGET help with activation

If the app displays a Device ID and/or MAC Address and asks for activation or configuration, take a clear screenshot of the information shown. Send it to TELEGET through the existing support route so the team can assist with the playlist setup.

02

Manage the playlist yourself

When using IBO Player or IBO Pro, follow the same official management flow used elsewhere in the TELEGET guides: enter the device details shown by the app, then add the TELEGET playlist using the connection information supplied in your welcome email.

IBO Player: Open the official IBO Player playlist manager

IBO Pro: Open the official IBO Pro playlist manager

Use the MAC Address and Device Key if your IBO app displays them, then add the TELEGET M3U or Xtream Codes details from your welcome email. Save the playlist and reopen the app if necessary.

Keep your login private

Your TELEGET Server / Portal URL, Username and Password are private subscription details. Enter them exactly as supplied and do not post them publicly.

Android troubleshooting

Check the basics before changing the setup.

Most loading problems come down to connectivity, a mistyped credential or a player that needs a refresh.

01

Check the internet connection

Make sure the Android phone or tablet can access the internet normally.

02

Recheck the login details

Verify the Server / Portal URL, Username and Password. Remember that the credentials are case-sensitive.

03

Update the player

Open Google Play and make sure the IPTV player is running the latest available version.

04

Restart the app or device

Close the player completely and reopen it. Restart the Android device if the playlist still does not load.

Support

Stuck during setup?

Send TELEGET the exact point where you are stuck, along with the player you are using. If your IBO app shows a Device ID or MAC Address, include that information when asking for help.
